Notion of Integrity and Its Cultivation among Contemporary Undergraduates

大学生是国家的未来和希望,他们的廉洁观状况将会对我国反腐倡廉建设产生极为重要的影响。大学生廉洁教育是我国反腐倡廉建设的基础性工程,其主要任务是帮助大学生树立科学的廉洁观,并实现从科学理念到实际行动的转化。这需要从廉洁观的基本要素入手,着力解决大学生在认知、信念、态度、动机和行为等方面存在的问题。只有牢固树立科学的廉洁观,才能坚定他们对我国反腐倡廉建设的道路自信、理论自信和制度自信;才能帮助他们提升文化自觉,增强文化自信,实现文化自强;才能使他们成为我国反腐倡廉建设的响应者、参与者、推动者和践行者,真正成为建设廉洁政治的中流砥柱。

Undergraduates are the future and hope of our nation. Their notion of integrity will be extremely important, influencing our nation＇s efforts in combating corruption and promoting integrity. Honesty education for undergraduates is the basis for the construction of anti-corruption in China. The main task is to help them develop a scientific notion of integrity and realize the transformation from scientific notions to actual behaviors. This requires starting with the basic elements of the concept of integrity, including cognition, faith, attitude, motivation and behavior. Only when a scientific concept of integrity is firmly established can they reaffirm their every confidence in the path, theories and system of our？combating against corruption and promoting of integrity, can they improve their cultural consciousness, strengthen their cultural self-confidence, and achieve cultural strength, can they sincerely become responders, participants, promoters and practitioners of China＇s anti-corruption construction,and become pillars of construction of honest politics.
