随着大数据的兴起,数据的本质发生了巨大的变化。大数据认为,"万物皆数",世界万物最终都可以还原为数据,数据因此成为世界的本质;万物皆可用数据表达,"量化一切"是大数据的终极目标;数据是信息的普适表征方式和新的实在形式,它是物质世界的映射,具有波普尔世界3的客观实在性。大数据让世界变成了一个数据化的世界,而数据挖掘让我们可以完全认知这个数据世界,由此世界变成了透明世界。

With the rise of big data,the essence of data has changed greatly. In big data era all is thought to be number,that is to say,all things in the world can ultimately be reduced to data,thus data is the world; all things can be expressed by data,and ＂To quantify everything＂is the ultimate goal of the big data era; data is the suitable characterization of information and new form of reality; it is the mapping of the physical world,with Karl Popper＇s world 3 of objective reality. Big data makes the world quantified,and data mining allows us to fully recognize the world of data,thus the world will become a transparent one.
