The Role of Video in Neurology Teaching for Undergraduates

摘要 目的:探讨视频在本科生神经病学教学中的作用。方法:分别在两个年度(2014年度和2015年度)的两个年级进行,分为两个组,2014年以湖北医药学院附属襄阳医院2011级5年制医疗系本科生80人为对照组,采用以文字和图片为主的课件进行教学;2015年以2012级5年制医疗系本科生100人为观察组,采用以文字+视频为主的课件进行教学。通过问卷调查和考试测试评估两种教学方法的效果。结果:观察组学生的学习兴趣、注意力集中度、对神经病学中难点的理解、学习效率和对课程知识的记忆均高于对照组(P<0.001)。通过考试成绩比较,观察组成绩优良率明显高于对照组(P<0.001),而不及格率明显低于对照组(P<0.001)。结论:视频教学可提高学生学习效果。 Objective:To investigate the role of video in undergraduate neurology teaching.Methods:In2014,80 Grade 2011undergraduates medical students from Xiangyang Hospital Hubei University of Medicine,were brought into the control group,taking dominant use of words and picture as the main teaching.In 2015,100 Grade 2012 undergraduate medical students were brought into the observation group,taking dominant use of text+ video as the main teaching.The effects of two kinds of teaching methods were evaluated by questionnaire and test.Results:In the observation group,the observed elements including learning interest,attention concentration,understanding for the difficulties and key points of the course,learning efficiency and the memory of curriculum knowledge were higher than those of the control group(P<0.001).Through the examination results,the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.001),and the failure rate was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion:Video teaching can improve students' learning effect.
