微生物分类单元整合与检索

Integrating and Retrieving of Microbiological Taxon

微生物分类学是微生物从业者认识微生物,进而利用和改造微生物的一种手段;其主要的任务有分类、命名和鉴定。目前有4家机构对微生物的分类单元数据库进行着维护,同时对外提供检索。4家机构由于只维护各自的数据库,给微生物从业者在检索和对比4家机构分类单元上带来了不便。基于此,本文开发了一个微生物分类单元整合和检索平台,该平台将整合4家的分类单元数据库,同时在整合过程中提取出分类单元的变更历史信息,最后通过Web方式将整合后的数据和信息供微生物从业者使用和参考。

Microbial taxonomy is a means of recognizing microorganism to microbial practitioners and it＇s also a method of further utilizing and remoulding organism. Classification, nomenclature and identification comprise taxonomy of microorganisms. At present, 4 institutions maintain their databases of microbial taxa as well as taxa retrieval. However, because each maintains their own database, microbial practitioners find it inconvenient to search and to compare taxon. Because of this situation, we developed a platform which integrates 4 institutions＇ databases of taxa. At the same time, we also extract the history of a taxon. Finally all integrated resources are provided to microbial practitioners by the Web.
