摘要
尽管大学英语教学改革已开展多时,普通高校非英语专业的大学英语精读课现状仍不让人乐观,表现为教学内容枯燥、教学模式陈旧,学生的学习兴趣不高、学习效果较差。语篇分析"5C"模式从衔接、连贯、语境、文化、评论五个方面对语篇进行阐释,有较强的可操作性和实践意义。如果师生以语篇分析"5C"模式为指引,在课前、课上、课后对精读课文进行分析,开展丰富多彩的、以互动交流为主的教学活动,将听说和交际活动贯穿始终,那么教学模式会更生动,教学内容会更贴近现实,精读课与社会文化、其他学科的联系会更紧密,学生的课堂参与度会提高,其英语综合运用能力和英语学习与交流的可持续发展能力会得以更好培养。
Though college English teaching reform has been on for a long time, in common universities,the present situation of college English intensive reading class for non-English majors is still wanting as it is represented by boring teaching content and old-fashioned teaching model. In consequence, students have few interests and their learning outcomes are undesirable. Discourse Analysis 5 Cs Model explains a discourse from five aspects, namely Cohesion, Coherence, Context, Culture and Critique. Hence, it has operational and practical significance. Guided by Discourse Analysis 5 Cs Model, teachers and students can analyze texts before, in and after class, take various interactive activities, and have speaking, listening and communicative exercises all through the learning process. In this sense, the teaching model can be more vivid, the teaching content more connected with reality, intensive reading class more related to society, culture and other subjects, students more involved in class activities, and their overall language ability and sustainability for English learning and communication better trained.
