Objective To investigate the clinical effect of comprehensive nursing intervention for neonatal jaundice. Methods From January 2012 to January 2014,100 patients with jaundice in our hospital were randomly divided into 2 groups, each group with 50 cases. Two groups of neonatal jaundice patients were treated with blue light irradiation, supplemented by routine nursing, the observation group taken comprehensive nursing intervention additionally. To observe the clinical symptoms and vital signs of the two groups of jaundice, and to evaluate the satisfaction degree of the children’s family on nursing. Results The removing jaundice time of observation group was significantly less than the control group, the serum bilirubin content was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 〈 0.05).The total efficiency of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and satisfaction rate was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 〈 0.05).The total satisfactory degree of families in observation group(96%) was higher than the control group(76%)(P 〈0.05).There only one case slight skin rash and diarrhea occurred in the control group, and cured after timely treatment. Conclusions For neonatal jaundice disease,in blue light treatment, giving comprehensive nursing intervention, play an effective role in support of the treatment, and can able to obtain higher degree of satisfaction of families.
