The internationalization of editorial board was an important symbol for China＇s English journals to become international scientific journals.In this paper,taking the found of English edition for Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops as the case,it described the composition principles,responsibilities and working mechanism of editorial board and the roles of international editorial board members in the internationalization of journals,which would provide good foundation for ultimately accomplishing an international and influential English scientific journal.
