《亚伯拉罕纪略》与古代章回体小说关系研究

Study on the Relationship Between James Legge's Novel "A Brief Record about Abraham" and Chinese Ancient Chapter Fictions

晚清时期,基督新教在中国逐渐发展起来,传教士们为新教的发展做出了巨大的贡献。理雅各就是他们中的重要一员,《亚伯拉罕纪略》是理雅各根据《圣经》和中国文学审美和小说接受的实际情况改编的,小说具有显著的中国古代章回体小说的特点。文章对《亚伯拉罕纪略》和中国古代章回体小说做简略介绍,将两者的叙事形式进行对比,并从中国文化叙事学的角度对比两者在叙事视角和意识形态的差异,探索基督教理论著述在晚清汉语语境中的接受与表达,基督教作品与中国文学传统的融合。"从基督教文学作品的内部结构出发,注重其叙事特征的分析和诠释,尝试从一个新的视角考察及基督教与中国文化处境的相遇问题"。^([1])

In the late Qing Dynasty,Protestantism developed gradually in Chinese,The missionaries made a great contribution to the development of Protestant.James Legge is one important member of them, ＂A Brief Record about Abraham＂ was adapted from the ＂Bible＂ the actual situation of Chinese literary aesthetic and novel accepted,this novel has the significant features of Chinese ancient chapter novels.This article does a brief description on the ＂A Brief Record about Abraham＂ and Chinese ancient chapter novel,comparing the two forms of narrative, and compare differences between the narrative angle of view and ideology from the angle of Chinese cultural narrative,exploring of Christian theory works acceptance and expressed in the late Qing Dynasty in the Chinese context, Christian works integrated with Chinese literary tradition. ＂Starting from the internal structure of Christian literature work,pay attention to the analysis and interpretation of narrative features,try to study from a new perspective and the problem of Christianity meet with the Chinese cultural environment＂.
