高职院校旅游英语教材的开发和有效利用

The Development and Effective Use of Higher Vocational Tourism English Textbooks

目前高职院校旅游英语课程教材存在内容和体例不符合高职教育特点,教材与市场需求不符,形式单调,重理论知识传授、轻实践能力培养,文化和历史地理知识过少等问题。为此,高职旅游英语教材的开发和有效利用应该从以下五个方面入手:选择适当的内容和编写体例;制定工作计划,对旅游企业的需求进行调研;教材应注重学生语言交际能力的培养;专业教师与英语教师合编教材;有意识嵌入西方文化与基本历史地理知识。

At present the content and style of higher vocational tourism English textbooks are not in conformity with the characteristics of higher vocational education, the teaching materials cannot satisfy market demand with the monotonous form, it values theory knowledge and ignores practice ability training, and cultural knowledge and historical and geographical knowledge are not enough. Therefore the development and effective use of higher vocational tourism English teaching materials can be conducted from the following aspects： select the suitable content and writing style; make the work plan, investigate the demand of tourism enterprises; the teaching materials should pay attention to the training of communication ability; professional teachers and English teachers cooperate to compile textbooks; consciously embed western culture and the basic historical geography knowledge.
