摘要
旅游文本翻译的精髓在于如何处理其中所蕴含丰富的文化元素。本文从关联—顺应模式出发并结合实例,尝试为旅游文本中涉及的文化元素的异化和归化翻译提供一个新的语用理论视角。译者应参照原语背景和自身认知假设推理原语文本交际意图,采取异化翻译保留原语文化特色满足译语读者的猎奇求异心理;采取归化翻译顺应译语读者的认知环境和审美期待;从而实现原文和译文之间的最佳关联。
The essense of tourism texts lies in how to handle its rich cultural elements. From the perspective of the relevance-adaptation model, this paper attempts with examples to establish a pragmatics framework for the foreignization and domestication of their translation. The translator infers the original text's communicative intention based on his own cognition as well as the original background before achieving optimal relevance between the original text and the target text through adopting foreignization to satisfy target readers' novelty-seeking curiosity and domestication to adapt to their cognitive environment and esthetic expectation.
