An Analysis of the Determining Factors of the Regional Distribution of FDI

从我国东中西部地区外资来源、外资区域分布、行业分布及投资方式等视角剖析了外商直接投资的地区性差异,认为影响外商直接投资区域选择的因素包括自然因素、经济因素、制度因素及基础设施建设等,并结合中西部地区的实际情况,提出了相应的对策。

This paper analyzes the determining factors of the regional distribution of foreign direct investment（ FDI） in China from the perspectives of the FDI sources,its regional and industry distribution and its modes. The paper concludes that the determining factors of the disequilibrium distribution of FDI in China include the natural environment,economy,political system,and infrastructures. It then proposes the corresponding countermeasures for the mid and west region to attract and utilize FDI.
