图书馆是人民的终身学校,肩挑着阅读和城市,为两者间架起了立交桥。苏州图书馆通过总分馆建设,"网借投递"创新服务,与读者进行线上线下互动;在总分馆间,开展丰富多彩的公益讲座和阅读活动;为了适应社会发展和图书馆的发展需要,引进社会力量,并与之合作融合发展,扩大市民阅读覆盖面,深入推进全民阅读,建设书香社会,提高市民文化素质,推动苏州公共文化服务体系建设和城市文化建设,同时保持苏州图书馆的可持续发展。

Libraries are individuals＇ lifelong schools,which connect the reading and city. By main branched construction and innovative services of ＂ Network Delivery＂,Suzhou library makes interaction with readers online and offline. In the main branch- library,it carries out abundant public lectures and reading activities. In order to adapt to the requirements of the social development and library development It imports social forces and develops cooperation,extending the coverage of public reading,promoting nationwide reading,building scholarly society and improving public quality yet become significantly important. It promotes the construction of public cultural service system and city culture construction,while maintains the sustainable development of Suzhou library.
