摘要
全球化背景下,研究高校国际交换留学生跨文化课程学习适应问题,提升他们的跨文化能力,是高等教育国际化进程中面临的一项重要课题。文章基于质性研究的扎根理论,分析了国际交换生对美国课程文化的认知表现及其暴露出的跨文化知识与技能缺失的现实问题。高等院校需要加强国际交换生跨文化适应能力建设,帮助他们厘清跨文化接触与跨文化学习存在的差异,认识到跨文化适应能力的形成将是一个周期性的过程,并正确看待"文化休克"现象。
In the context of globalization, to explore international exchange students' adaptation in cross-cultural curriculum and to enhance their intercultural competence is an important issue in the process of internationalization of higher education. Using a qualitative method based on grounded theory, this article analyzes the exotic experience of international exchange students to the United States curriculum culture, and the practical problems. We find that they are lack of cross-cultural knowledge and competence. Institutions of higher education in promoting international student exchange cross-cultural adaptability need to help them clarify the difference between cross-cultural contacts with the existence of cross-cultural learning, to recognize the formation of cross-cultural adaptability. It will be a cyclical process and correct view of cultural shock phenomenon.
