With the quick popularity of ICT and the deepening and broadening of its integrity with education, the traditional classroom teaching mode is evolving to a digital teaching ecosystem.The digital era is transforming the teaching mode and learning method of college English, thus, giving college English teachers＇ professional development a new connotation. ICT literacy improvement has become a key item and an important indication of college English teachers＇ virtuous professional development in the digital era. Teachers＇ professional development has to enter the digital era 2.0.
