Picture of Gathering Scholars in Dicui Garden is a Character picture scroll created by the famous painter Xu Yi between Ming and early Qing dynasty, which is not only a rare art treasure, but also an important historical material of the Group of Shandong Celebrities at the beginning of Qing dynasty. Sun Guangsi played an important role in the process of the generation and conservation of this picture. This article reviews and researches preliminarily on the origin, the author of this picture and characters in the paintings and circulating rocess of this picture.
