Simulation and Design of Ku-band Five-bit Digital Phase Shifter

摘要 介绍了一种Ku波段五位数字移相器,采用PIN二极管作为开关原件,描述了:PIN二极管的开关原理,并给出了电路设计方案及仿真结果.五位移相器由11.25°,22.5°,45°,90°及180°五个移相单元构成,其中11.25°,22.5°,45°采用改进的加载线型结构,90°,180°采用改进的开关型结构,同时还研究了调节支路引入前后对电路性能的影响.移相器频率范围为13.2-14.8GHz,频宽为1.6GHz,驻波比小于1.72,插入损耗小于1.55dB,回波损耗优于12dB,仿真结果表明,各项指标达到设计要求. In this paper, the design of Ku-band five-bit digital phase shifter using PIN diode as switches was designed. The 5 bit phase shifter consist of five phase shifter cell (11.25°, 22.5°, 45°, 90° and 180° ), in which 11.25°, 22.5°, 45° degree shift bit corresponded to improved load-line configuration and 90°, 180° degree shift bit was of improved on-off line circuit. The switch principle of PIN, the method of circuit design and the simulation result were presented. Meanwhile, the introduction of the adjusting branch effect on circuit performance was investigated. In addition, the frequency is among 13.2 - 14.8GHz, the bandwidth is 1.6GHz, VSWR is smaller than 1.72, the insertion loss is smaller than 1.55dB, and the return loss is better than 12 dB. The simulation result shows that the performance has met the design specification.
