Analysis and Suggestion about the Leakage of Tube Joints in Sulfur Cooler

硫磺水冷器是炼化行业净化排空气体的硫磺回收装置中重要设备之一,其内漏直接影响装置的"安稳长满优"运行。从腐蚀环境、设计结构、材料选用、质量计划、使用管理以及定期检验等方面对硫磺水冷器的管接头泄漏进行了分析,建议硫磺水冷器的设计应兼顾管/壳程介质的双重腐蚀性,完善管端防腐结构、制造应保证管接头连接的可靠性、使用管理在保证正常运行的同时尚应注重停工吹扫的腐蚀防护、定期检验更应关注管接头的安全状况等级评定。

Sulfur cooler, whose internal leakage will directly influence the ＂smooth, steady, long, full and excellent＂ operation of the unit, is one of the important equipments of sulfur recovery system, which is used to purify the vent gas in petrochemical industry. The analysis has been done on the leakage of tube joints in sulfur cooler in many ways, including corrosive environment, structure design, materials selection, quality plan, use management, periodic inspection, and so on. The suggestion is that the design of sulfur cooler should give consideration to the dual medium corrosively from both tube side and shell side, and perfect the corrosion prevention structure of tube-end, the construction should assure the reliability of connection using tube joints, the use management should not only assure the normal operation, but also pay attention to the corrosion and protection of the purging during the shutdown, the periodic inspection should put more focus on the rating of the safety situation for tube joints.
