庞德在美国文学史上有着"诗人中的诗人"的称号,他花了50多年时间创作的《诗章》堪称英美现代派诗歌的一座丰碑。特别是其中的《比萨诗章》部分,因融入很多的中国元素,尤其是大量引用儒家四书经典,颇受中国读者青睐。本文主要结合具体文本详尽阐述庞德与儒家思想的历史渊源,这对正确评价庞德其人其作有一定的借鉴意义。

Ezra Pound is called＂The Poet of Poets＂in American literature.The Cantos which he takes more than 50 years to complete can be regarded as a monumental work among the British and American modernist poems.Especially The Pisancantos section finds favour in Chinese readers＇ eyes on account of its absorption of many Chinese elements and its plenty of allusions to Confucian classics The Four Books.This paper is an attempt to give a detailed analysis of the historical origin of Pound and Confucianism.This will be of a certain referential value in terms of the appropriate evaluation of Pound and his works.
