Discussion on the Revision of Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water GB3838

This paper discusses the necessity of using TOC instead of COD, points out the existing differences on standardized limit value of water quality between GB 3838 and other standards, finally puts forward some suggestions such as using q＇OC instead of COD step by step, carrying out environment benchmark research and determining the standardized limit value according to priority pollutants.
