摘要
以福州三坊七巷及其周边景点的公示语英译为案例,从语言、文化和修辞等层面对相关景区公示语的翻译进行分析,结合实际案例对景区公示语英译的翻译策略和翻译考量进行分析,探讨译文的不足之处和翻译调整问题。
A linguistic, cultural and rhetorical analysis is conducted on the translation of public signs in the famous tourist attraction in Fuzhou--Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. Based on that, some shortcomings of the existing translation and adjustment strategies are also discussed in this paper, to give a thorough analysis of the translation strategies utilized in translating public signs.
