Research on the Function of Traditional Funeral Ceremony from the Perspective of Rural Governance——A Case Study of Wuhe County in Anhui Province

传统丧葬礼仪在中国农村社会历来受到莫大的重视,程序繁琐却普遍盛行,历经改革却经久不衰。传统丧葬礼仪顽强生命力的背后反映的是其重要的社会功能和价值。以安徽省五河县为例,对农村传统丧葬礼仪进行梳理总结,从农村治理角度切入,以期探索农村传统丧葬礼仪的社会功能。

In the rural society of China,the traditional funeral ceremony,though with complicated procedures and constant reforms,has been receiving much attention and popularity. The tenacious vitality of the traditional funeral ceremony reveals its essential social function and value. The article takes Wuhe County in Anhui province as an example,and combs and summarizes its rural traditional funeral ceremony from the angle of rural governance,so as to explore its social function.
