贺州中职英语课堂教学现状及对策

On English Teaching of Secondary Vocational Schools in Hezhou: the Current Situation and Countermeasures

以贺州地区为例,中职英语课堂教学存在学生英语基础差、教学模式落后、教材和教学课时不能结合学生实际、教与学的积极性不够等问题。要提高中职英语教学效果需要从教育部门的重视、老师更新教育理念和教学模式、教学结合职业特色,灵活使用教材、建立真诚融洽的师生关系和正确的评价体系等方面着手。

English teaching of the secondary vocational education in Hezhou is facing challenges whose reasons lie in that English teaching level of most secondary vocational schools needs to be improved and that teachers can hardly meet the requirements when there are teaching tasks of higher difficulty on their shoulders. In this essay, after an analysis on the current situation of vocational English teaching in Hezhou, measures and suggestions have been offered on improving the quality of English teaching in secondary vocational schools in Hezhou.
