This paper mainly introduces the fundamental principle,equipment components,processing parameters and ingot qualities of aluminum and aluminum alloy air curtain casting with Airsol Veil^R mould,analyzes the processing characteristics of the air curtain casting the influences of several major factors on ingot qualities.
