秦始皇海上"射杀巨鱼"的故事中有使用"连弩"的情节。秦军重视"弩","连弩"很可能已用于实战。对"连弩"功能的理解,有"连射"和"并射"之不同。汉代军事史有使用"连弩"的明确记录。《汉书》卷30《艺文志》著录"《望远连弩射法具》十五篇",可以理解为有关"连弩射法"的训练条令。诸葛亮曾经改进"连弩"。作为显著提升远距离杀伤力的先进兵器,"连弩"长期得到使用。
The legend of Qin Shi Huang,the first Emperor of Qin,＂shooting giant fish ＂ involves the use of＂crossbows＂.The troops of Qin valued the use of＂crossbows ＂,therefore it was likely that this weapon was utilized in actual combats.The functions of ＂ crossbows ＂ differed between ＂ continuous shooting ＂ and ＂ multiple shooting ＂.The use of ＂crossbows＂ is definitely recorded in the military history of Han Dynasty.Treatise on Literature in Volume 30 of The Book of Han includes a 15-article section describing＂shooting methods with long-range crossbows ＂,which can be interpreted as training regulations for＂crossbow shooting methods＂.Zhuge Liang once improved on the＂crossbow ＂.As a kind of advanced weapon with effective long-range attack capability,＂crossbows＂ enjoyed long-term popularity.
