摘要
院校简介网页英译质量直接影响高校网页外宣效果。通过调查统计,运用翻译生态学理论,从语言维、文化维及交际维适应性选择转换角度,分析福建5所新建本科院校简介英文网页的英译质量,指出译者在翻译高校简介时应采用符合国外受众阅读习惯的表达方式,力求简介英文网页能达到预期效果。
The translation quality of university webpage profiles affects the intended purpose of publicity. Through the survey and from the perspective of eco-translatology, this paper analyzes the translation quality of the webpage profiles in the five newly-established universities in the linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions and suggests that the idiomatic expressions be adopted to achieve the publicity purpose.
