Always Be a Man Who Pursues Truth

人类社会的发展和进步，就是一部科学战胜朦昧、真理战胜谬误的文明史。中国特色社会主义理论的确立及举世瞩目的光辉业绩，就是中国共产党人为实现中华民族伟大复兴“中国梦”而不懈追求真理、践行真理所谱写的辉煌篇章。不懈追求真理是人类社会发展进步的永恒主题，是中国共产党发展壮大的精神支撑，是每个共产党人面临的政治考验，是党的各级干部必备的精神品格。作为部队干部追求真理、践行真理，就要坚定信念，坚决拥护习近平主席关于军队建设和改革的重要论述和战略决策，立足本职工作，为加快部队与院校改革和建设步伐，实现强军目标履职尽责。

The development of human society is the civilization history of science over igno- rance, truth over fallacy. The establishment of the theory of socialism with Chinese charac- teristics and its great achievements constitute a brilliant chapter where the Chinese commu- nists pursue truth and carry forward the practice of seeking truth unremittingly for realizing the Chinese Dream,the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation. Relentless pursuit of truth is the eternal theme of progress of human society, the spiritual support of the development and expansion of the Communist Party of China, the political test to every communist, and the necessary spiritual character of cadres at all levels. To pursue and practice the truth, military officers must hold firm belief, stably support President Xi on his important statements and strategic decisions towards military construction and reform,accelerate the pace of construc- tion and reform of the army and military academies based on our own duties and responsibili- ties, and perform our own duties to achieve the goal of strengthening the military.
