摘要
基因间长链非编码RNA(large intergenic non-coding RNA,linc RNA)是指基因间不编码蛋白质的长度大于200nt的RNA。
Large intergenic non-coding RNAs(linc RNAs) refer to intergenic non-coding RNAs whose lengths are more than200 nt. Initially linc RNA was considered to be "noise" in the genomic transcription. However, since the development of second-generation sequencing technology and a large amount of data generated by sequencing technology, the growing number of linc RNAs are identified, causing people's attention. There are more than 12,000 linc RNAs included in the human genome. With deep research, biological mechanisms and potential features of linc RNAs become clear. This review summarized the research progress about linc RNAs, sequence characters, roles played in diseases and relevant databases.
