戏乐俑是中国古代艺术文化的重要组成部分。戏乐俑多出土于墓葬与祭祀场所。其具有两方面的意义:一是为满足丧葬礼制的要求,二是为了视觉娱乐和取悦神灵。戏乐俑一开始依附于丧葬而存在,后来逐渐发展成为丧葬建筑装饰文化的一部分。它的发展变化反映了不同历史时期的社会风俗习惯和艺术审美。

Blessing figurines play an important role in ancient Chinese culture and arts. Most blessing figurines had been unearthed from tombs and ritual sites. They are significant in two aspects, to serve funeral sacrificial purposes and to meet aesthetic needs. Derived from funeral sacrificial culture, blessing figurines evolved into integral part of sacrificial architectural culture. Its development reflects the social customs and artistic aesthetics in different historical periods.
