The Definition of Rural Construction Thought in Modern China

在近代以来的中国历史进程中,乡村建设思想及其社会运动占有极为重要的地位,也发生着持久深远的影响。学术界对其品评不一,论议纷呈。但以往的评价基本是建立在革命与改良的思维模式中的论说。从历史长程中观察,乡村建设思想内涵与社会实践显然超越了改良的范畴。应该超越这一简单化评说框架,从整体的历史演进态势中把握其要义,形成一个学理性定义。这是对其进行深入研究和展开讨论的学术前提。

The significance of rural construction thought and social movements,which have a far-reaching influence on the modern historical process of China,can never be denied. Opinions vary about the research of rural construction thought in the academic circles. Our previous studies,however,showed that scholars are based on thought pattern of revolution or improvement. Historically,rural construction thought and social movements extend beyond improvement. What we should do is surpassing the former simple evaluation framework to forming an academic definition of rural construction thought. This is the prerequisite for further study and discuses.
