Creation By Accumulation—On the Aesthetic Education Thought in the Calligraphy of Cai Yuanpei

作为20世纪上半叶最为重要的教育家、思想家和美育家的蔡元培,对中国近代教育事业做出了不可磨灭的贡献。他极为注重革新教育思想,倡导"以美育代宗教",并大力创办美术院校和书法社团,将"书法教育"纳入到了美育实践中的重要位置,对中国近现代书法教育产生了的深远而广泛的影响。

Cai Yuanpei,as the most important educator,thinker and aesthetic educator in the first half of the20 th Century,made an indelible contribution to the modern education of China.He paid great attention to the reforming of educational thought,advocated ＂replace religion with aesthetic education＂ by establishing art institute and calligraphy association taking ＂calligraphy education＂ to the key position of aesthetic education,which has extensive influence on modern calligraphy education in China.
