基于Data Curation的机构库建设研究——以约翰霍普金斯大学Data Conservancy项目为例

Research on Construction of Institutional Repositories Based Data Curation : A Case Study of Data Conservancy Hosted by The Johns Hopkins University

科学数据浪潮对于机构库建设来说是一把双刃剑,Data Curation为机构库建设和发展带了机遇,也对传统机构库建设模式发出了挑战。约翰霍普金斯大学Data Conservancy项目是对科学数据监管的一种新的尝试。文章对Data Conservancy的目标任务、构建基础、框架结构及其组织结构进行了探究,为机构库应对数据浪潮挑战提供借鉴范例,对机构库如何更好地进行数据监管进行了探索。

Research data trend has two sides for the construction of IR. Data curation brings up opportunities for the construction and development of IR, which is a challenge for the traditional construction model of IR as well. Data Conservancy program of John Hopkins University is a new try of data curation. The investigation of objective tasks,constructive bases,frame structures and organization structures offers us a reference for the reaction to the challenge of the data trend. Also it＇ s in favor of better data supervision.
