On the Acceptance of Western Modernism by Chinese Vanguard Novels

20世纪西方出现了思想上具有强烈反传统性,艺术形式上追求实验性、创新性的现代主义文学流派。80年代初现代主义思潮传入中国,以马原、格非、残雪、余华等为代表的一批作家接受了现代主义创作手法,在思想和艺术形式上进行文学实验,形成中国当代文坛上别具一格的"先锋小说"作家群。余华作为先锋派最激进的代表之一,作品也显现着鲜明的反传统性。先锋小说的活跃与退潮是受文化、社会、历史等多方面因素影响的,对当代文坛具有重要价值。

In the 20 th Century there has been a modernist literary genre with strong anti- traditional thinking and artistic form in pursuit of experimental and innovative. Modernism trend was introduced into China in the early1980 s,and a group of writers represented by Ma Yuan,Ge Fei,Can Xue and Yu Hua accepted the modernist writing method. They did some experiments in the thought and art form of literature,and formed a unique style in Chinese contemporary literary world groups： the ＂Vanguard novel＂writers. Yu Hua as one of the most radical avant-garde representatives showed a distinct anti- traditional feature in his works. The living and fall of the vanguard novels was affected by many factors such as the culture,society and history. It is important to the contemporary literary world.
