In this article, quenching equipment, tempering theory and process improvement were introduced. In view of the reasons for the low qualification ratio of the quenched and tempered oil tank steel, through improvement tests on water flow, speed and temperature adopted in quenching process, the property qualification ratio of the product was improved, the lead time of the products were shortened.
