Great Potential of Deep Ore Prospecting in Mutonggou

木洞沟深部存在木桐沟隐伏背斜,其北部为寺沟隐伏背斜,南部为东塘子隐伏背斜,三个背斜均呈近东西向平行排列,都是由东向西侧伏,三个隐伏背斜特征极其相似,寺沟、东塘子隐伏背斜深部找矿都取得了可喜成果,木桐沟隐伏背斜,尤其是南翼未开展过深部找矿工作,根据其地质特征,及与相邻的寺沟、东塘子隐伏背斜对比,木桐沟深部,尤其是深部隐伏背斜南翼是寻找深部隐伏盲矿体的最佳部位,具备找矿的条件、深部找矿潜力,应积极开展木桐沟深部找矿工作。

The Mutonggou concealed antichne exists in the deep area of the Mutonggou, with Sigou concealed anticlines are similar in features. Favorite deep prospecting results have been achieved in Sigou and Dongtangzi, but prospecting work in Mutonggou has never been carried out. In view of its geological features, and comparison with adjacent concealed anti- clines, it is convinced that the deep area of the Mutonggou, especially the south rim of the concealed anticline is the best prospecting area with good condition and potential, and active prospecting work should be commenced.
