It is of great significance just like a milestone for MOOC in the history of development of higher education,it has a profound impact on all aspects of the education industry chain,the library is also involved and new opportunities have emerged. The new roles of library positioned in the MOOC service are copyright advisory,resources navigation,instructional support and information literacy education. The library needs to face a lot of practical challenges in the process of carrying out the MOOC service,the possible coping strategies include the following aspects： marketing promotion,cross- border cooperation and mechanism innovation.
