杭州图书馆创办的"作家公社"是一个公益性的文学协作团体,它集读者、作者、出版者、图书经营者、藏书者及文献服务者为一体,形成文学创作与出版服务的多方互动平台。借鉴"作家公社"的实践探索经验,公共图书馆应明确:有效整合资源、拓展服务空间是留住读者、吸引读者的必要手段;细分读者群体、满足个性需求是转变服务方式的正确途径;延伸扩大功能、开展跨界服务是创新发展的必然趋势。

＂Writer Commune＂ founded by Hangzhou Public Library is a non-profit literary collaboration group, which is a multiparty interaction pJatform of literary creation and publishing service for readers, authors, publishers, book managers, bookcollectors and literature servers. Based on the practical exploration experience of ＂Writer Commune＂, the public library should confirm that it is the essential means to keep and attract readers by effectively integrating resources and expanding service space, it is the correct way to transform the service mode by segment reader groups and satisfy individual needs, it is the inevitable tendency of innovative development to implementing the cross-border service.
