摘要
图形-背景理论作为认知语言学中句法解读的重要工具,对宋词翻译有积极的指导作用。基于此理论,文章对李清照《醉花阴》两英译版本进行了系统分析,从认知的角度,阐释了图形-背景理论在宋词翻译时对译者把握原词的句子成分的主次关系、调整译文中句子成分的位置和选择恰当的句型结构的重要意义。
Figure and ground theory as an important tool for cognitive syntactic analysis can give a positive guide to the trans- lation of Song lyrics. Based on this theory, the article carries out the systematic analysis on two English translation versions of Li Qingzhao＇s Tipsy in Flowers＇ Shade by professor Xu Yuanchong and professor Zhuo Zhenying from the perspective of cognition, and argues that it is very significant for the translator with the figure-ground theory to grasp primary and secondary relations in original sentence, adjust the place of sentence composition theory and choose the proper sentence structure.
