中美空军在长衡会战中联合作战述评

Joint Operations by Air Force of China and the United States in Hunan Battle

1944年,日军为了打通平汉、粤汉、湘桂等几条铁路要道,开辟至南洋的"大陆交通线",意图摧毁美国在华的空军基地,进而发动豫湘桂战役。其中的长衡会战是豫湘桂会战中的第二阶段。尽管在长衡会战中,中国军队丢失了湖南大片领土,但中美空军的联合作战行动不仅掌握了常德会战后的制空权,通过配合守军作战,沉重打击了日军,而且其联合作战行动成为世界反法西斯统一战线联合的光辉典范,昭示着中国抗战必胜。

In 1944, in order to get through Ping Han, Yue Han, Xiang Gui railway arteries and opening up ＂mainlandlifeline＂ to the southeast Asian, Japanese troops launched Yu Xiang Gui campaign to destroy the American air force base in China in which Hunan battle was the second stage of it. Though China lost territory of Hunan in the battle, joint operations by air force of China and the United States became a shining example in a joint of the world anti-fascist united front which indicated the victory of Chinese Anti-Japanese War. In the battle, joint operations of air force not only mastered the air domination of postwar in Changde, but only gave a heavy blow to the Japanese troops through cooperating with the defenders.
