College English Teaching Reform in the New Situations: Challenges and Suggestions

介绍了我国高校新一轮大学英语教学改革的背景,从课程设置、教学模式和测评方法等方面分析了大学英语及后续阶段英语课程教学改革所面临的机遇和挑战,并针对这些问题提出了若干建议。

This paper first presents the new situations of the current college English teaching reform in China, and then illustrates the opportunities and challenges faced by the reform concerning curriculum design, teaching mode, testing and evaluation. Some suggestions are also offered to deal with the problems.
