2016年3月9日,全球领先的致力于提高商用车安全、效率和智能互联技术的供应商威伯科宣布,已开始向戴姆勒股份公司交付业界领先的MAXX^TM气动盘式制动系统（ADB）,如图1-2所示。戴姆勒股份公司是全球主要的商用车生产商之一,也是全球最大的6吨级以上卡车制造商。伴随着此次合作,戴姆勒股份公司旗下现有的重卡平台都将装配有威伯科的高性能单活塞气动盘式制动器,其中包括居市场领先地位的Actros、Antos和Arocs型卡车。
On March 9, 2016, the global leading supplier WABCO, devoted to improve technologies in safety, efficiency and intelligent intranet for commercial vehicles, had announced that it had successfully delivered the industrial leading MAXXTM air disk brake system ADB to Daimler AG. As compared to other ADBs in the market, the mature design of WABCO single piston had reduced the number of parts contained in the brake for about 25%. In the WABCO MAXX ADB, easy replaced ＂plug and play＂ wear indicator sensor technology was adopted. At the same time of improving system reliability, the cost of maintenance could be reduced. Besides. the bi-directional adjusting device of WABCO had optimized wear of friction pads.
