中国雾霾污染的环境库兹涅茨曲线研究——基于2001~2012年中国30个省市面板数据的分析

Study on Environmental Kuznets Curve of Haze Pollution in China--An Empirical Analysis Based on Panel Data of the Sample of Chinese 30 Provinces during 2001 ~ 2012

以2001~2012年中国30个省市面板数据为研究样本,探讨雾霾与经济发展之间是否符合环境库兹涅茨曲线。结果表明：第一,雾霾与经济发展之间呈现N型,未出现传统的倒U型;第二,区域发展不平衡,雾霾污染的环境库兹涅茨曲线差异显著,东部、中部和西部地区分别呈现倒N型、N型和U型,拐点也各有不同;第三,经济规模可减轻雾霾污染,产业结构、人口密度、能源强度和技术进步则会加重雾霾污染,贸易依存度及城市化并未能显著改变雾霾污染现状。

Based on the sample of Chinese 30 provinces panel data during 2001 -2012, the paper analyzes EKC between haze and economic development. The significant findings show that, firstly, there is not an inverted U-shaped type but an N-type between haze and economic growth. In addition, there is unbalanced development and significant different EKC of haze between regions, east, central and western regions present inverted N-type, N and U respectively, the inflection point is also different. Last but not least, economic scale can reduce haze pollution, industrial structure, population density, en- ergy intensity and technological progress will aggravate haze pollution, there is no evidence that the degree of trade depend- ence and urbanization can change haze pollution significantly.
