On the Situation of Liberal Education of University of Macao and Its Enlightenments

博雅教育对于培养学生具有"全人"素养和可持续发展能力具有重要作用。澳门大学在博雅教育实施方面,其定位、人才培养目标和课程设置等都独具特色,对内地大学尤其是转型背景下内地本科院校在本科人才培养目标制定和课程设置等方面有一定的启发和借鉴意义。

Liberal education plays an important role in cultivating students with ＂holistic literacy＂ and sustainable developing ability. University of Macao is distinctive in the orientation, personnel training goal and curriculum setting of liberal education, which can give a certain enlightenment and reference to undergraduate colleges and universities in the China's Mainland, especially under the background of transformation, to develop the profession in setting training goal and curricula for undergraduate talents cultivation.
