从宝黛之间的称呼品读其爱情

On the Love Between Baoyu and Daiyu by Their Calls

前人探讨《红楼梦》中贾宝玉和林黛玉的爱情,大多是从故事情节、主要人物或者从社会心理学的角度来进行的。其实,从宝黛之间的相互称呼这一特殊的角度,往往也能看出一二。例如贾宝玉恭敬地称呼林黛玉是"林妹妹""林姑娘",而林黛玉对贾宝玉的称呼则只有"他",极少数情况下是"二哥哥""二爷"。这些不同寻常的称呼,真实地反映了宝黛彼此内心深处的情感。更重要的是,有时候这些称呼是不假思索的脱口而出,没有什么雕饰,因此而显得更真实、更深情。

People used to talk about the love in The Dream of Red Mansions between Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu through the plots, main characters and social psychology. In fact, the form of address and the calls are other spe- cial ways to view the love between Baoyu and Daiyu. For instance, Baoyu called Daiyu ＂ Miss Lin＂ or ＂ Lin Gu- niang＂ and so on, while Daiyu only called Baoyu ＂he＂ , or rarely called him ＂old brother＂ or ＂ Ye＂ （ like ＂sir＂ in English）. The calls directly show the main characters＂ own feelings since most of the time they just say these words without any consideration, which the words are more authentic and more genuine.
