This paper mainly introduces the characteristics,teaching links and methods of the teaching of architecture courses, and in accordance with the characteristics of the curriculum arrangement and students＇ ability of learning and accepting knowledge, designs a teaching method combining heuristic teaching, discussion-based teaching and review-based teaching.The teacher-student interaction and communication can further promote the thinking collision between the teacher and students,thus cultivating students＇ spirit of innovating, emancipating the mind and exploring. It can also continuously improve students＇ understanding, mastery and application of knowledge, and provide necessary experimental teaching skills for students. Thus it can be seen that only through the combination of textbook teaching and experimental teaching can the characteristics of architecture courses be played and favorable teaching effect be achieved.In order to achieve favorable effect, teachers should effectively combine classroom teaching with experimental teaching in the teaching of architecture courses and employ various methods revolving around the characteristics of the courses.
