地方高职院校旅游英语人才培养的困境与出路——以郧阳师专为例

On the Cultivation of Tourism English Talents in Local Vocational Colleges:Problems and Solutions——A Case Study of Yunyang Teachers' College

目前,国内旅游英语教学主要集中在地方高职院校层次,教育体系中存在着人才培养目标与教学对象水平不匹配、现实教学条件与理想教育环境不对称、教师课堂教学与职业教育理念不接轨以及地方政府、教育行政主体的引导、扶持责任不到位等主要问题。因此,地方高职院校应努力调动多方因素,创造有利于旅游英语教育的整体环境,同时要在科学论证的基础上构建系统的旅游英语人才培养模式,并在教学实践中坚持贯彻以学生为中心的现代职业教育理念。

Currently,teaching of tourism English is mainly carried out in local vocational colleges,in which there exist various problems.For example,the actual ability of teaching objects mismatches the goals of talent training and the teaching reality lags behind the expected teaching environment. Two other typical problems cannot be ignored either,i.e. classroom teaching devoid of vocational teaching ideologies and lack of support and guide from government,educational and administrative authorities. Accordingly,local vocational colleges are suggested to create tourism education-friendly environment by involving various parties in. A systematic mechanism for cultivating tourism English majors is also badly needed to be in line with the student-centered vocational teaching beliefs.
