摘要
工程类专业和技术类专业致力于培养不同类型的人才。美国工程与技术认证委员会分别为工程类专业和技术类专业制定了两个相互独立的认证标准体系。尽管这两类专业的认证标准体系存在许多相似之处,但他们在体系结构及毕业要求和课程等具体指标上存在明显差异。借鉴ABET工程类和技术类专业认证标准,我国应构建符合技术类专业特点的认证标准。
The programs in Engineering and Technology aim to the cultivation of different types of talents respectively. The Accreditation Board for Engineer and Technology(ABET) in United States has developed the accreditation criteria for engineering programs and technology programs separately, which shows some similarities and differences in terms of the graduate requirement and curriculum between these two kinds of accreditation criteria. Referring the criteria for engineering programs and technology programs in the USA, China should build independent technology accreditation criteria for technology programs.
