张鷟及其《朝野佥载》考释

Philological Studies of Zhang Zhuo and His Chao Ye Qian Zai

张鷟是唐代著名学者,所撰《朝野佥载》是唐早期笔记小说的代表性著作之一。《朝野佥载》有较多版本,各家对其性质的看法也不尽相同,史志目录多将其归入杂传记类,私修目录则纳入小说家类。文章对《朝野佥载》进行考证,认为该书内容杂芜,但多讲史事,归为杂传记类更为合适;书中部分内容记载的史事已超出张鷟卒年,应是后世辑佚过程中误抄《朝野佥载》所致。

Zhang Zhuo is a famous author in Tang Dynasty. His Chao Ye Qian Zai is one of masterpieces of sketchbooks in the early Tang Dynasty. There are a number of versions about Chao Ye Qian Zai. The books of bibliography have different statements. The directory of chronicles arranges it into classification of miscellaneous biography. The private directory makes it into classification of novelist. This paper conducts a research on Chao Ye Qian Zai. It holds the view that the content of this book is miscellaneous, but more things in it are about the history, so it is more appropriate to classify it as miscellaneous biography. Some historical facts in the book are beyond the year of death of Zhang Zhuo which may be caused by wrong copy from Chao Ye Qian Zai during the later collection.
