The determination of vicat softening temperature （VST） of thermoplastic material is researches and analyzed which is demanded in safety standard for audio, video and similar electronic apparatus. Some key points in the test are also listed, in the last part, It calculates and analyzes the uncertainty of test result by establishing mathematical model, so that the accuracy of test result can be improved in the future.
