泸州市医务人员对医疗废弃物认知现状调查

Survey of the current status of cognition level on medical wastes in hospital staff in Luzhou

目的:调查泸州市医务人员对医疗废弃物处理相关知识知晓情况,为相关部门加强各种医疗废弃物管理监督提供理论依据。方法:采取分层随机抽样方法,自行设计问卷调查泸州市各级医院医务人员600人,回收问卷528份,回收有效率88.00%。结果:医院工作人员对医疗废弃物管理知晓率为62.31%(369/568),随医院层次提高有逐渐增加趋势(χ2趋势=15.194,P=0.002),医科大学直属附属医院最高(80.43%),乡镇医院最低(58.67%);不同岗位医院工作人员知晓率不同(χ2=35.085,P=0.000),医疗废弃物主管领最高(85.71%),护工最低(46.15%);不同科室医院工作人员对医疗废弃物管理知晓率有差异(χ2=14.185,P=0.007),感染科最高(81.32%),影像科最低(62.24%)。结论:泸州市医院工作人员对医疗废弃物管理认知水平总体偏低,医院以及上级监管部门应加强其培训管理,减少医疗废弃物引起的环境污染及健康损害。

Objective： To investigate the knowledge in hospital staff about medical waste disposal in Luzhou,and to provide theoretical basis for the relevant departments to intensify the management and supervision for medical waste disposal. Methods： 600 medical staff at different levels in hospitals were investigated with a self-designed questionnaire using stratified random sampling. The valid questionnaires were 528 and the effective rate reached 88.00%. Results：The awareness rate about medical waste management in hospital staff was 62.31%（369/568）,which increased gradually with the increased ranking of the hospitals（χ2trend= 15.194,P = 0.002）, with the highest（80.43%）for university affiliated hospitals and the lowest（58.67%） in township hospitals; the awareness rate is different among hospital staff at different posts（χ2= 35.085, P = 0.000）,with the highest（85.71%）in directors of medical waste department and the lowest（46.15%）in patient care departments, and the awareness rate was significantly different among hospital staff from different departments（χ2= 14.185,P = 0.007）, with infectious department the highest（81.32%）, and radiology department the lowest（62.24%）. Conclusion：The cognitive level about medical waste management in hospital staff in Luzhou is relatively lower, hospitals and the supervision department should strengthen the training program to reduce health damage and environmental pollution caused by medical waste.
