摘要
印度几代领导人都宣称把社会公平正义作为主要的奋斗目标之一,面向弱势群体保留权政策就是实现这个目标的重要手段。60多年来,通过保留权政策的施行,印度弱势群体的教育取得了很大的成绩。但是,保留权政策受到了印度上层阶级的强烈抵制,多次引发了剧烈的社会动荡,实施效果还不尽如人意,它的全面有效落实还需要社会各界付出更大的努力。
Several generations of Indian leaders declared social equity and justice as one of the major objectives for which they would strive, and the reservation policy for weaker sections is considered an important strategy to realize this objective. More than 60 years after independence, through the performance of the reservation policy, great changes have been made in education of the weaker sections. But due to the strong resistance from upper classes, the reservation policy has caused a lot of severe social unrest, and the result of its implementation is not satisfactory. The comprehensive and effective implementation of the reservation policy needs more efforts from all walks of life in India.
